The past 2 days posts have been introductions into Facial Reflexology…NOT to be confused with a facial massage. Yesterday was how this beautiful, non-invasive therapy will “mess with stress” adding needed nourishment to the SKIN and resulting in a beautiful YOU! Today, is about how Facial Reflexology will “mess with stress” internally?
Let’s get this party started!!! Clinical work and evidence is highlighting how STRESS is one of the root causes of many illnesses we are challenged with today: depression, tiredness, fertility issues, irritability, poor sleeping patterns, internal inflammation,pain..to name a few. ❤️Facial Reflexology combines the benefits of foot/hand reflexology (along with a holistic facial therapy) and being “on the face” the brain is MUCH closer to have a quicker response in sending out needed messages internally. While working on the face, a trained practitioner will work on all internal organs and systems…this in turn will give attention to the “whole” body…I like referring reflexology to an “internal massage” through external points. So, for example, say you have COPD…getting to the lung with a massage is impossible….BUT getting to the lungs through facial (& foot/hand also) is a beauitFUL gift to your lungS…they are “stimulated” with the points being activated to begin “massaging” themselves…HOW COOL IS THAT! ❤️In a nut shell; Facial stimulation work on the Central Nervous System, affecting specific organs/systems that help regulate blood, lymph, body functions and hormone. This nerve point stimulation brings the body’s Chi (energy) back into alignment, restoring balance. Benefits: deeply relaxing; reduces stress inside/out; reduces tension, anxiety, migraines, sinus challenges, insomnia, IBS, joint pain, learning disabilities, hormone imbalance, and helps relax a woman trying to conceive!
❤️This is just the beginning of how our bodies LOVE and RESPOND to Facial Reflexology…it’s so much more than an outward “beauty treatment”…it’s an internal one too! I’d love to hear your thoughts/questions…please share with a friend/colleague/family member that would enjoy learning about this…
P.S. This is one of the therapies I DO and soon I will let you in on a “brand new” way of helping YOU get a treatment … until then, be safe, stay well, show HUMAN kindness and ❤️,use common sense … COVID-19 is far from over.
